Ein Hod Rebranding Series
Three cultural venues. One cohesive design system.
Background
Ein Hod is an artists’ village in northern Israel, home to a range of cultural and creative spaces. As part of a visual renewal initiative, three key institutions - the Amphitheater, the Contemporary Art Gallery, and the Hostel - underwent a full rebranding process.
Challenge
Each venue had its own audience, tone, and visual history. The challenge was to create distinct identities that reflect each space’s unique character, while introducing a shared visual language rooted in the village’s artistic heritage.
Solution
I developed three separate but connected brand identities:
Amphitheater
A logo inspired by the village’s original emblem and the iconic semicircular shape of the amphitheater. The visual system was designed to honor the wide range of artists performing there.
Gallery
A clean, typographic logo referencing the original gallery mark. The modular system supports rotating exhibitions and curatorial flexibility.
Hostel
A playful logo drawing inspiration from Dadaist aesthetics, reflecting the avant-garde spirit of Ein Hod’s founders.
Impact
The new identities brought visual clarity and cohesion to key cultural touchpoints in the village. The system elevated the presence of each venue while reinforcing a collective sense of place. It also allowed for brand consistency across media, from signage and print to digital assets, all while celebrating the individuality of each space
